The last authentic Fish Car in the United States, is rescued from historic oblivion by Mid-Continent Railway Museum. From the 1870’s to the 1920’s nearly every state and Federal Fish & Game Agency used the specialty rail cars widely. Today, few recall how they stocked the lakes and streams with fish fry, to serve the westward expanding population as both food and recreation. After years of reverse engineering & restoration challenges, Wisconsin’s Badger #2, is back on track.
